JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP 2007

First game : Tribes vs Gators
 
We had played against Gent last year so we knew a little of what to expect. They were able to gain a lot of yards with their running game but our defense were able to hold them a couple of times from within the 5 yard line. Our offense started a little slowly but our two rookie quarterbacks each threw for a touchdown (one a little lucky, I'll admit!) and the defense were just able to hold out Gent one more time and the game was over.

Second game : Tribes vs Phoenix
 
Gent played against Doornik next, so we had some time to look at the Phoenix. We saw that they were a very fast team and that they use some pretty inventive (and cool) formations on offense! Our offense were pretty good really, and we scored enough points that the result was never in doubt, however well done to the Phoenix who scored a nice TD on the last play of the game, so they never gave up.

Overall I'd say that it was a great day. A bit muddy around the changerooms, but it was a beautiful day for football - I hope the weather was so good all over the country! We're already looking forward to the next games.
